Between the sea and the semi-desert plain, this path runs along the coast to the town of El Cotillo, where it leaves the coast and begins to enter the interior through semi-desert plains, looking for the mounts of Los Frailes and Corraletes to descend from there to the gully of the Cañada de Melián, transiting on the jable (sand).
